About us

Central Norway Regional Health Authority's IT department (Hemit) supply all IT services to specialized health services in the counties of Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal.

We aim at improving patient care by innovative use of ICT solutions. We ensure that the hospital's critical systems are available at all times.

Hemit runs large projects, procures new IT-solutions and partipates in regional and national projects. Hemit provide service to 20.000 of Norways most important IT-users 24/7 and

run more than 1000 applications
run more than 1750 servers
handle more than 130 000 interactions at our call center yearly

Hemit has approximetly 400 employees. Our offices are spread throughout the region, but our headquarter located in the center of Trondheim.
